肯德基早餐开售油条：3元每根
KFC offers Chinese Youtiao: 3 RMB each
为了征服中国人的胃，洋快餐煞费苦心。继卖汤、饭、粥之后，肯德基餐厅从本月２１号开始在早餐时段出售油条。
这种3块钱一根的油条比普通意义上的油条差不多短一半，不少顾客认为，价钱有点贵了。
据说，肯德基油条没有添加明矾，却同样保持了外酥内软的口感，其健康卖点击中了中式传统油条的软肋，因此被称为“安心油条”。
KFC on Monday began serving youtiao in all of its restaurants in China, taking another step in localizing it’s menu.
Each youtiao stick sells at three yuan, nearly three times as its price in ordinary Chinese restaurants.
KFC claims its youtiao contain no alum, which is widely used by Chinese youtiao makers to keep the food fluffy and crisp, and which has sparked health worries.

英国宣布1月21日为一年中最忧郁和使人意志消沉的一天。
每年1月下旬，英国专家都会根据卡蒂夫大学(CardiffUniversity)Cliff Arnell教授几年前制定的一个公式来计算一年中最郁闷一天的具体日期。
Ernell教授考虑的因素包括：一月份阴沉和湿冷的天气、拖欠钱款的数额、支付能力、刚刚过去的圣诞长假、自己承诺过但没有履行的诺言等。
心理学家建议，最好的解决办法是在这一天不要向郁闷情绪屈服--正面积极的看待所有周围的事物。
According to new research, January 21 has been officially declared the gloomiest day of the year.
Dr. Cliff Arnall, a psychologist from Cardiff University in Wales, devised a formula to calculate the dreary date.
He says six factors combine to make us miserable, including the dank and gloomy weather; debt; broken resolutions, etc.
The psychologist said one of the best ways to beat the blues was simply to stop moaning, and focus on the good things you do have in your life.

美剧《越狱3》重编剧情续播 收视率仍惨淡
Prison Break 3 is back on air with re-written plot, while the audience rating is still low
由于剧本创作陷入僵局加上收视率下降，美国热门电视连续剧《越狱》的第三季在去年11月停播。
不过最近，国内电影论坛和网站上又赫然贴出了“《越狱》第三季更新第九集”的帖子。
记者从《越狱》投资方福克斯电视台的官方网站上得知，《越狱3》的第九集确实已经播出，但重新编排过的剧情并没有得到观众肯定，收视率还是呈现出下降。
Due to its uncreative script and low ratings, the hit TV show Prison Break was pulled from the air last November.
The official website has stated that the ninth episode has been aired but it is still experiencing low ratings despite the rewritten plot.
