1月23日，合肥市一家饭店把列宁演讲时的场景设计成广告画，贴在饭店的橱窗上，并写着“乡亲们，年夜饭开始预定了！”的广告语。
有市民称，列宁是无产阶级的革命领袖，在我国享有崇高的政治地位，饭店用列宁形象做广告，是极不严肃的行为。
A restaurant in Hefei, Anhui province has run an advertisement featuring Lenin.
The ad has Lenin inviting customers to the restaurant for dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year.
The ad has angered some saying it is disrespectful to use Lenin’s image in an advertisement.

英国完成太空船设计 20万美元可太空旅行

Space Travel: Virgin Galactic unveils Space Ship Two

据报道，英国维珍集团完成了太空飞船的最后设计，料今年稍后试飞，最快明年投入服务，初期每人收费20万美元。
据根据维珍集团公开的设计，载人太空飞船连同搭载的飞机，就像三架并排的飞机。
当飞行到某一高度，飞船就会脱离搭载飞机，点燃引擎，自行爬升至距离地面100公里的亚轨道，除两名机师，飞船最多可载6人。
离开地球大气层后，乘客可体验5分钟的无重状态，飞船之后会跌落地球，整个旅程需时约2个半小时。
Virgin Galactic unveils their design of Space Ship Two, and the first space trips could happen as early as 2009. The initial price for the tickets is about $200,000.
The new craft will drop from a twin-cabin high-altitude jet that can double as a space-tourist training craft. The spaceship can carry 6 passengers and two pilots.
Flights will last about two hours, with 4.5 minutes of weightlessness when the 60-foot SpaceShipTwo reaches an altitude of about 68 miles.

For the Western Conference, two of the five are from Denver Nuggets. Yao Ming is the center but his teammate McGrady is out of the list.
The starters of Western Conference: Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Tim Duncan, and Yao Ming.
According to the second round of All Star balloting, McGrady is more than 80,000 ahead of Iverson, and therefore the result is surprising.
This is the first time for Iverson to be the starter after he began to play for the Western Conference. He was honored the starter for the Eastern Conference for consecutively seven times when he played for Philadelphia 76ers..

The British Grammy-nominated singer Amy Winehouse was captured on video taking Valium and cocaine at her house in ease London.
In the 19-minute video posted online, Winehouse walks around her home in a dark tank top. At one point, Windhouse says, “I just took about six Valium.”
