During the past 30 years, almost 480 of the Fortune 500 companies have invested in China.
From 1978 to 2007, China's total use of foreign investment exceeded 760 billion US dollars, the largest amount among developing countries and the second largest worldwide.
Meanwhile, the country's foreign trade also experienced a rapid growth, from 20.6 billion US dollars in 1978 to 2.17 trillion US dollars last year.

Charles Ray Fuller, a 21-year-old Texas man was arrested on a forgery charge for trying to cash a $360 billion check.

He said his girlfriend's mother gave him the check to start a record business. However, the woman said she did not give him permission to take or cash the check.

He was released after posting $3,750 bail.

现年21岁的美国德州男子查尔斯•雷•福勒因要兑现3600亿美元的私人支票，以涉嫌伪造罪被逮捕。

他说，支票是他女朋友的母亲给他的，让他开办一家唱片公司。可是该女子称并没有允许他拿走或者兑现这张支票。

随后，在交纳了3750美元的保释金后他被暂时释放。
